Work Сontinues on Draft Model Law on Artificial Intelligence Technologies

On 23 September, a meeting of the working group on the development of the Draft Model Law on Artificial Intelligence Technologies was held in the form of videoconferencing. The group was formed by the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board and the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC).

The meeting participants discussed proposals and comments on the document from the AI Regulation Center of PJSC Sberbank(Sber), the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, members of the Expert Advisory Board from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, as well as from the Legal Expertise Department of the IPA CIS CouncilSecretariat.

The discussion was attended by Chair of the IPA CIS - RCC Expert Advisory Board, General Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of CommunicationsAlexei Borodin, Managing Director - Head of the Human-Centered AI Center of PJSC Sberbank (Sber) Andrey Neznamov, Scientific Director of the Special Design Bureau for Computer Aided Design Systems JSC, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology Valeriy Konyavskiyand others.
