Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 2:22 PM, Troopers arrested James Silvia, age 55, of 1120 Main Avenue Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - B.A.C Unknown - 1ST Offense. 2.) Refusal to Submit a Chemical Test. and 3.) Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Route 95 in the City of Providence. Silvia was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
