Huntsville Police seek information on person of interest in deadly shooting

[Link]The Huntsville Police Department (HPD)seeks the public's help as it investigates a deadly weekend shooting.

The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Hobbs Island Road on Sunday, Aug. 4, at approximately 9:45 a.m. When HPD officers arrived to the area, they found Kirk Urban, 49, with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was immediately transported to Huntsville Hospital, where he later died.

A witness told investigators Urban was in a verbal altercation with a middle-aged white male when shots were fired. Investigators believe the unknown male was swimming nearby with his wife and two children before the altercation took place.

That same witness told investigators the family fled the area in a white, full-size, crew-cab pickup truck.
