The University of Alabama at BirminghamDivision of Preventive Medicine and the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center are collaborating with Black Women's Health Imperative to conduct the "Breast and Cervical Navigation in Communities for Equity" study.
The BC - NiCE study was developed to promote breast and cervical screening in the state of Alabama for Black women ages 21-74. This study is actively recruiting participants. The eligibility requirements include:
If eligible, participants will receive an incentive of up to $100. Participants will be guided to obtain necessary resources such as utility assistance, food resources, location of a primary care provider and assistance with scheduling appointments, if needed.
