Fubon Futures Corp. was Sanctioned for Violation of Laws an......
1.Date of sanction: August 7, 2024
2.Object of sanction: Fubon Futures Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Fubon Futures)
3.Legal basis for sanction: Article 119, paragraph 1, subparagraph 2 of the Futures Trading Act. Article 8, paragraph 2 of Regulations Governing Managed Futures Enterprises.
4.Facts of the violation: Fubon Futures concurrently operates a managed futures enterprise. The personnel making discretionary trading decisions did not affix his signature on the written decision of foreign futures transaction that he produced on April 19 and June 1, 2022. Fubon Futures failed to implement its internal control system.
5.Sanctions imposed: A fine of NT$120,000 was imposed on Fubon Futures in accordance with Article 119, paragraph 1, subparagraph 2 of the Futures Trading Act.
