GOODWILL INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL RANKS SECOND AMONG NONPROFIT TIMES’ TOP CHARITIES LIST AGAIN

Goodwill Industries International (GII) has once again solidified its position as one of the nation's leading charitable organizations, earning the number two spot this year in The Nonprofit Times' (NPT) coveted rankings of the top 100 charitable organizations. This achievement recognizes Goodwill® for its continued commitment to giving and supporting individuals on their journey to find fulfilling employment.

The NPT top 100 examines the largest nonprofit organizations that raise at least 10% of their revenue from the public with significant contributions to both mission programs and government support services.

"This ranking aggregates the impact of 153 local organizations that employ approximately 140,000 employees (many with life challenges) and supported 1.7 million people with various services. While the numbers are large, they represent individual lives, stories and aspirations," said GII President and CEO Steve Preston. "It is our privilege to provide people in our communities who are facing barriers to employment with life-changing support to help them succeed in sustainable careers and truly thrive."
