ATR Achieves Great Milestones at Farnborough International Air Show 2024

The 2024 Farnborough International Air Show marked another dynamic chapter for ATR, underscoring its dominance in the regional aviation market through strategic partnerships, new orders, aircraft placements and a strong focus on sustainability.

Air Tahiti placed an order for four ATR 72-600 aircraft, alongside renewing an eight-year Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA). The new aircraft, scheduled for delivery between 2025 and 2028, will support Air Tahiti in providing essential connectivity across the archipelago.

With this additional agreement, ATR achieves a total number of 18 new orders so far this year, including 10 aircraft from Avation PLC and four orders from two undisclosed customers.

ATR also announced a significant collaboration with Ethiopian MRO, a premier maintenance and training provider under the Ethiopian Airlines Group. This partnership aims to bolster ATR's presence in Africa and the Middle East, enhancing customer support and market penetration in these key regions.

This week, ATR celebrated a milestone with Avation PLC, which placed an ATR 72-600 with Japanese startup JCAS Airways. This is the first aircraft placement from Avation's recent order. JCAS Airways, set to commence operations in late 2025, will use the ATR 72-600 to connect Kansai to Toyama and Yonago.

This year's show was also a timely opportunity for ATR to host its Financiers Briefing, offering an in-depth look at ATR's market strategies, financial performance, and future growth prospects. The contribution of our financiers' community is essential for the entire ecosystem to invest in new generation low-emission aircraft and shape a more responsible and efficient regional air travel sector.

Last but not least, aviation enthusiasts enjoyed remarkable performances from ATR test pilots every day, with flights of the ATR 72-600 test Aircraft, showcasing its maneuverability and low noise footprint. The final day of the show focused on initiatives aimed at attracting a new generation of ATR pilots, with our participation to the airshow's Pilots' day.

Visitors to the ATR static area could appreciate the comfort and modernity of the cabin of Braathens Regional Airlines' ATR 72-600. The very same airline with whom we performed, in June 2022, the first-ever flight using 100% SAF in both engines on a commercial aircraft, for an expected reduction in CO2 emissions of 80% throughout the entire fuel lifecycle.

Once again, ATR demonstratedits leadership position on the regional market, the adequacy of its products and services to further enhance connectivity worldwide, and commitment to driving the change towards ever more responsible regional travel.
