BRANCH OF PERM POLYTECH TO OPEN IN KOGALYM IN 2023

Construction of the Education Centre - a branch of a Russia's leading engineering university - Perm National Research Polytechnic University (Perm Tech) - continues in the city of Kogalym, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District - Yugra, thanks to support from PJSC LUKOIL.​

The area of about 66 thousand square metres will include academic and laboratory buildings, a community and education block, two campuses for 380 students, a sports centre, auditorium and conference rooms for 400 seats, a transformer amphitheatre, a canteen and a café.

Currently, in-situ concreting is being completed, while facade works and interior decoration are underway, and stained-glass windows are being installed. The technological and multimedia equipment is also being purchased.

The project is implemented in accordance with the quadripartite Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, PJSC LUKOIL, the Governments of Yugra and Perm region.

The Education Centre is scheduled to open in 2023.
