Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 4 & 26

Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-26 for maintenance and construction operations.

State Route 4

Intermittent traffic breaks from Bonanza Mine Road to Appaloosa Road for construction beginning Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Tipton House Road to Country Club Drive for utility work beginning Monday, July 29, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control from Henry Street/Lilac Street to Arnold Byway (Old Highway) for utility work on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

State Route 26

One-way traffic control at Sky High Drive for paving work on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Long-term one-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for bridge/guardrail work through August 31, 2024.

Long term one-way traffic control at North Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for bridge/guardrail work through August 31, 2024.

• NOTE: All trailered vehicles are NOT recommended due to reduced traffic lane width.

All work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
