NYU Executive Vice President Martin Dorph today announced that the University has named Taylor Jantz to the post of Senior Vice President for Finance and Budget and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 3, 2025.
Jantz comes to NYU from the University of Florida, where he has been serving as senior vice president, CFO, and university secretary.
Mr. Dorph said, "We are very pleased to announce the selection of Taylor Jantz as NYU's senior vice president for finance and budget and chief financial officer. He takes on these vital duties at an important time for the University.
"At the University of Florida and beforehand, he established a record of providing excellent strategic guidance to universities on advancing institutional priorities, financing key capital projects, developing innovative approaches to fostering financial sustainability, enhancing financial performance, and implementing new financial strategies and operational efficiencies. We look forward to his bringing these strengths-as well as his collaborative style of leadership and his penchant for creating a work culture that empowers colleagues-to NYU. I am confident that Taylor will prove to be the right person at the right moment for this position."
Jantz received a BBA in economics from Creighton University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Public Policy from Vanderbilt University.
