Municipal Election: November 5, 2024

The City of Buena Park General Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. In addition to the national and state elections, residents have the opportunity to vote for City Council seats in three districts, as well as a local ballot measure.

Residents of City Council District 3 and District 4 will both have the opportunity to elect a representative to serve a full four-year term on the City Council, while residents of City Council District 2 will have the opportunity to fill the vacant seat by electing a representative, who will serve the remaining two years of the original four-year term.

All Buena Park residents will have the opportunity to vote on the City of Buena Park Public Safety/Essential Services Measure, or Measure R, which proposes a one percent (1%) local transactions and use tax (local sales tax).
