Big news on the home front-Tri Pointe Homes is on the move. We are proud to announce the opening of a new division in Utah, expanding our footprint. This marks the 16th division for our growing company, with operations based in the greater Salt Lake City region.

Utah has been a consistently strong housing market fueled by its diverse economy. That's why we believe it is a region where our premium lifestyle brand will make a life-changing difference for homebuyers in search of a design driven home and outstanding customer experience. We are laying the groundwork for our first vibrant and thriving neighborhoods in Holladay and Heber cities in the greater Salt Lake City area.

Meeting Housing Demand

Utah enjoys a vibrant economy and one of the country's strongest job-growth markets. With such diverse industries as tech, life sciences, aerospace, financial services, and energy/natural resources, Utah has experienced increased housing demand. Like much of the country, Utah has been experiencing a housing shortage, with limited resale supply and a decrease in home starts. We see an opportunity to contribute to a more balanced supply and demand in the market, allowing future homeowners to fulfill their dreams.

Our "Best of Big and Small" approach is a key pillar that has helped Tri Pointe Homes succeed in diverse markets across the country. Each regional division is led by market experts who are empowered to make decisions on a local level, while having the financial backing and resources of one of the largest public homebuilding operations in the country. Leading the charge in Utah is Ken Krivanec, the newly named president of the new division. Krivanec, who has served as division president for Tri Pointe Homes' Washington division for 12 years, will serve in a dual president role.

Ken is a strategic and collaborative leader who has the backing of a highly qualified and engaged team in Washington, which will allow him to take on this expanded leadership role focusing first on land and talent acquisition and contribute in a significant way to Tri Pointe Homes' strategic growth in both the Washington and Utah markets."
