TALLAHASSEE - Following its Internal Affairs meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold its annual Storm Protection Plan Cost Recovery Clause (SPPCRC) hearing for Florida Power & Light Company; Duke Energy Florida, LLC; Tampa Electric Company; and Florida Public Utilities Company. Established by the legislature in 2019, the annual SPPCRC hearing reviews and determines each utility's prudently incurred transmission and distribution storm protection plan costs, including a true-up of costs for the prior year, the calculation of actual/estimated costs for the current year, and projected factors for the following year.
