CULVERT PROJECTS: Lakeway Drive & Top O The Lake Drive

JULY 3, 2024 UPDATE

Lakeway Drive is now OPEN following a culvert replacement project that started several months ago between Cross Creek and Lakeway Boulevard. A portion of Top O The Lake Drive will be shut down Monday, July 8 for work on a culvert replacement project on that section of road. Those who live in that area have been notified, and will still be able to access their home by way of either Top O The Lake Drive or Cold Water Lane. Both projects are part of the voter-approved 2022 Lakeway Transportation Bond.

PREVIOUS DETAILS

Your transportation bond dollars are at work! As part of the transportation bond approved by Lakeway voters, a culvert replacement project is taking place as of April 9, 2024 (weather permitting) under Lakeway Drive near Lakeway Boulevard (not far from Lakeway Church). Lakeway Drive between Lakeway Boulevard and Cross Creek (see map) will be closed while the culvert replacement project is underway. This project will likely last through July. During the closure, we're asking those who typically use Lakeway Drive to please make plans to use alternate routes.

LEAVING LAKEWAY

For those who use Lakeway Drive towards Lakeway Boulevard (leaving Lakeway), we ask that you please plan to take use either Sailmaster or Cross Creek and take those roads over to Lohmans Crossing Road and out to Lakeway Boulevard.
