The Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest participates in the Diplomatic Charity Fair 2024
On 24 November 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest participated in the Diplomatic Charity Fair 2024, organised by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest (DSB), under the patronage of Mrs. Szilvia Szijjártó-Nagy, spouse of Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Hungary, at the Bálna Defence Center.
The Embassy organised a Thailand booth showcasing Thai products and activities, including a lucky draw, traditional Thai massage services, and a food zone offering Thai cuisine. Thai President Foods (Hungary) Kft. and the Thai Asia Shop grocery store also participated to support charitable causes. To enhance the event's atmosphere, the Embassy presented performers from the Moradokmai Theatre Community to perform contemporary Thai music. Additionally, the Embassy played a key role as the main coordinator for DSB in organising a Large Ruffle to win grand prizes. Proceeds from this year's event will be allocated to the following Hungarian charities: Együtt az Autistákért, Fényszóró Alapítvány, and Mohamanó ÉlményMűhely Alapítvány.
