EBRP Registrar of Voters Announces Voter Registration Deadlines and Extended Office Hours Monday

East Baton Rouge Parish Registrar of Voters Steve Raborn reminds citizens who need to register to vote or update their registration that Monday, October 7th is the last day to register to vote in person or by mail for the upcoming presidential election to be held November 5th. Tuesday, October 15, is the last day to register to vote online at the Secretary of State's website.

Voter registration applications may be submitted online at www.GeauxVote.com or in person at any of the three Registrar of Voters office locations in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Main Office: City Hall, 222 St. Louis St., Room 201
Southeast: Fire Station Building, 11010 Coursey Blvd.
Baker: Motor Vehicle Building, 2250 Main St., Baker

Regular office hours are 8:00 am until 4:30 pm on weekdays, but all East Baton Rouge Registrar of Voters locations will remain open until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 7, the last day to register in-person.

Voter registration applications may also be printed from the GeauxVote website and submitted by mail. Applications returned by mail must be received or postmarked by the October 7th deadline.

Applicants registering to vote in person should bring valid identification that establishes identity, age, and residency. Submit your current Louisiana driver's license, if you have one, or your birth certificate or other documentation which reasonably and sufficiently establishes your identity, age, and residency. If you have no driver's license, special Louisiana ID, or Social Security number, you may provide a picture ID, a utility bill, payroll check, or government document that includes your name and address.

Early Voting will be held October 18th through October 29th (excluding Sundays) at all Registrar of Voters locations, the Louisiana State Archives Building, and the Central Branch Library.
