Women's Wear Daily (WWD), recently hosted its annual WWD Honors and Abercrombie & Fitch Co. was proud to be recognized for two awards, the first time ever for a company.
The Edward Nardoza CEO Creative Leadership honor went to our CEO Fran Horowitz, while A&F Co. received the public company of the year Honor.
On October 29, Fran accepted both awards in New York City as a part of the WWD Apparel and Retail CEO Summit. The Honors Awards dinner included more than 300 brand leaders, designers and executives that came together to celebrate this year's honorees in the retail industry.
James Fallon, Chief Content Office of WWD presented the awards, highlighting the changes the A&F Co. brands have been on the past several years, noting, "Over the last few years, Abercrombie & Fitch has been one of the best-performing companies in fashion and retail with seven straight quarters of growth and 2024 projected growth of 12 to 13 percent at a time when there has been a slowdown throughout the industry."
In accepting the awards, Horowitz noted, "It's been a remarkable journey, one filled with challenges, but more notably, a journey with more accomplishments than anyone thought possible," she said. She continued on to say that "the transformation we've undergone and the success we've achieved in recent years would not have been possible without my resilient team."
A&F Co. is honored to be recognized for the culmination of years of hard work.
