FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 11, 2024 Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hosts a Stellar 48th Annual Gala and Hispanic Business Hall of Fame Washington, D.C. - The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GWHCC) hosted its 48th Annual Gala and Hispanic Business Hall of Fame on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at the JW Marriott Washington, DC. The sold-out event brought together over 500 business and community leaders to celebrate the resilience, innovation, and impact of Hispanic businesses in the Greater Washington region. This year's theme, "Winter Wonderland," created a magical atmosphere for an evening filled with networking, entertainment, and recognition of outstanding contributions to the Hispanic business community. The event was emceed by Alberto Pimienta, Anchor for Telemundo44, and Susan Hogan, NBC4 Consumer Investigative Reporter. Honoring ExcellenceDuring the gala, the Chamber recognized remarkable leaders and organizations with prestigious awards:
Special Recognition by Comcast NBCUniversalComcast NBCUniversal's Project UP celebrated four incredible organizations-Latin American Youth Center, Tenants & Workers United, Latino Economic Development Center, and the GWHCC Foundation-by donating laptops to support their missions.
