Former Democrat Representative and Presidential Candidate Placed on Terror Watch List

While the Biden-Harris administrationreleased at least 99 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist, according to a new report by the House Judiciary Committeeit conveniently added former Representative and Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard to the terrorist watchlist known as the Quiet Skies program. The watchlist ostensibly exists to help law enforcement focus on travelers who present a security risk to our country. You heard that right, nearly 100 known terrorists have been released into our country, yet Tulsi Gabbard has been deemed too dangerous by our government and is now being surveilled by the FBI.

Why, you ask? Political retaliation, pure and simple.According to multiple news reports, the knowledge that former Congresswoman Gabbard was on the Quiet Skies "terrorist list" onlycame to light because of whistleblowerswho came forward with their concerns about political retribution for her outspoken stances against the Biden-Harris administration.The track record of the federal government andwatchlists is dismal. Federal agencies have abused these lists which are ripe for targeting political opposition, including Second Amendment supporters and gun owners (nice lead in, see my next story).Because Tulsi Gabbard has been highly critical and dared to speak out against the Biden-Harris administration's dangerous and failed agenda, she now pays the price like so many others have.

Gosar Sponsors Legislation Prohibiting Unconstitutional Taxes on Firearms

Speaking of the Second Amendment, this week, in response to the dozens of letters from constituents I have recently received urging that I sign on to support efforts opposing the Biden-Harris administration's latest attempt to prevent you from exercising your Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, I cosponsored the Freedom from Unfair Gun Taxes Act.This legislation would prohibit states from placing excise taxes on firearms and ammunition on gun purchases. Liberal states, including California, have targeted law-abiding gun owners by imposing an 11 percent "sin tax" over and above a sales tax on firearms and ammo. This added tax more than doubles the taxes already paid on gun and ammo purchases. Their goal is to make legal gun purchases less affordable by placing a significant financial burden on gun owners to advance the radical agenda.Leftists will stop at nothing to target the Second Amendment. I appreciate everyone who wrote in urging that I support this bill.

We don't have to accept these astronomical costs as our new normal. America has some of the richest oil, natural gas, and mineral reserves in the world, and our homegrown industries are well-positioned to tap into these resources in ways that are safe and environmentally friendly. Liberal bureaucrats act in blind disregard of Americas true resource potential, exemplified by their unwillingness to develop critical minerals and their reckless decisions to lock up billions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of gas across the country. The Biden-Harris administration's energy policies that cut off access to our natural resources have forced American companies to go overseas and made us reliant on foreign adversaries for energy.

That's why House Republicans have repeatedly pushed back on burdensome federal regulationsand passed legislation like the Alaska's Right to Produce Act which would reverse the Biden-Harris administration's energy policies that closed production in parts of resources-rich Alaska. We've also advanced comprehensive legislation like the Lower Energy Costs Act or H.R. 1, which would make it easier for businesses to produce energy right here in America, secure our supply chains, lower energy prices for consumers, and ensure decades of innovation and opportunity for the future.

Democrat Congressman Calls for Civil War and Overturning Trump Victory

Mere weeks following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump,Maryland Democrat Congressman and former Trump Impeachment Manager Jamie Raskin said in a video released this week that the real insurrection will be led by Democrats in it will begin in January 2025, should Americans elect Donald Trump as president again.In his remarks, the leftist congressman said it would be up to Democrats in Congress on January 6, 2025 to tell Trump supporters that "he's disqualified." Democrat Congressman Raskin went on to say "Then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions" to overturn the election results and keep President Trump from governing.Why is the fake media not reporting on these horrific comments? Why hasn't the House of Representatives censured Mr. Raskin and removed him from all his committee? Raskin's comments proves the dangerous hypocrisy of the Democrats and once again prove that they will stop at nothing, including civil war and insurrection, to hold onto power. Raskin is openly supporting authoritarianism and a violent overthrow of the government. More on this in the "Mail Time" section later in my newsletter.

Gosar on the Go: District Highlights!

The extended summer district work period allows me time to travel throughout my district. I recently had the privilege to visit and tour the Havasu Regional Medical Centerin Lake Havasu City. The Havasu Regional Medical Center is a patient-centered community hospital that combines the best in local hometown care with the latest in world-class medical technology. We are fortunate to have this fantastic medical center in our community to meet the healthcare needs of patients and families. I'd like to thank everyone at HRMC for taking time to meet!

I received thousands of letters each month from constituents. I appreciate hearing from everyone who writes me. Here are few letters I received this week:

Sammie S. from Surprise, AZ wrote in:

I just watched Fox News Jesse Watters show a video of Jamie Raskin speaking to members of the Democrat Party telling them how if Trump wins the election, Rankin will bring a phony charge of disqualification and cause a civil war.

This is very disgusting, disturbing and out and out illegal. This needs to be addressed with the rest of the Republicans in the House and Senate. Heads up as Democrats will stop at nothing to stop Mr. Trump.

✏ Dear Sammie - You're right: Democrats will stop at nothing. As you note, Representative Raskin, who happens to also be the Ranking Member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee,discussed that"… it's going to be up to us on January 6th, 2025 to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he's disqualified, and then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions. If the election is fair and secure, and President Trump wins, then nobody should trample on the will of millions of American voters.

Then Representative Raskin makes comments about "civil war conditions." I believe that it is best for leaders to refrain from talking about civil war conditions and never steer the country towards violence and war. This type of violent rhetoric is unjustifiable andI unequivocally condemn and reject my colleague's remarks.

Unfortunately, Representative Raskin's remarks are just another example of extremely negative rhetoric from the radical left. He joins the ranks of Hillary Clinton who once said that half of Trump's supporters can be put in "… the basket of deplorables," Kathy Griffin once posted a picture of her holding a representation of a bloody Trump head, and Representative Rashida Tlaib referred to Trump as a "… motherf****er."

In our discourse, radical left-wing Democrats appear to have no substantive rebuttal to America First proposals that support strong family values, cut taxes for the middle and working classes, end the endless wars, bring jobs back to America's shores, and unleash American energy dominance. Because of this, they seem to have no choice but to go low.

Let's submit a bill for Biden to sign that stops taxing server employee tips ASAP. Since Biden and Harris BOTH support President Trump's idea to end taxation of tips that are received by employees who often make less than the standard minimum wage due to being tipped employees, why not introduce a standalone bill this week that does just that? Make Biden and Harris put up or shut up. If they sign the bill, Trump can take the credit. If they do not sign the bill, they are shown to be hypocrites to all of the tipped workers.

✏ Terry, l love your idea. I hope that you are pleased to hear that I am a cosponsor of the No Tax on Tips Act. This legislation was introduced on July 8th and it allows as a deduction an amount equal to the cash tips received during the taxable year that are included on statements furnished to the employer pursuant to a certain section.

Tipped employees are truly the backbone of these businesses.

Unfortunately, too many businesses and service workers struggle to get by in the aftermath of radical lockdowns and amid the Biden-Harris administration's inflationary policies. I am committed to supporting these businesses and workers, and I believe that the No Tax on Tips Act is a commonsense and reasonable policy to do so.

According toAxios, both President Donald J. Trump and Kamala Harris have promised to eliminate taxes on tips. Hilariously, even the Fake News admits that Kamala's promise came "… two months after…" President Trump's promise. Clearly, Kamala Harris and the Democrat party have no real ideas to help the Americans and must shamefully resort to stealing President Trump's ideas and promises.
