At 12:30 PM, Troopers arrested Jonathan Winston, age 30, of 1726 Carriage Run CT, Fresno, Texas, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Felony Assault Domestic Strangulation and 2.) Domestic Violence Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road, in the City of Warwick. Winston was processed at the Wickford Barracks, and later transported to the Providence Police Department.

At 11:52 PM, Troopers arrested Christopher Duffy, age 31, of 52 Langdon Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the Town of Jamestown. Duffy was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment as a probation violator.
