County Confirms Second Heat-Related Death for 2024
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office has confirmed the County's second heat-related death in 2024.
Albert G. Edadiz, a 77-year-old male resident of Sacramento, died of heat stroke on July 12, 2024, at the UC Davis Medical Center. Mr. Edadiz was not unhoused at the time of his death.
Because the decedent was hospitalized for an extended period, the Coroner's office did not conduct an examination of the decedent. As a result, there are no available reports from the Coroner's Office.
