NATCHITOCHES - In continuing its tradition of honoring those who serve in the nation's Armed Forces, Northwestern State University named Staff Sergeant Brandon Bullock the honorary captain during its football game on October 12.

Serving in the Louisiana Army National Guard, Bullock was a Military Police Team Leader and Motor Transport Operator before training as a Recruiting & Retention Non-commissioned Officer and cadre member for the Recruit Sustainment Program.
