Pescadero Creek Park Trail Closures

Butano Ridge Closed

After being largely closed due to damages from the the CZU Lightning Complex fires of 2020 and the storms of early 2023, Old Haul Road opened in its entirety in early November 2023. All access to Butano Ridge from Old Haul Road is restricted. For your safety, please heed trail closures.

Jones Gulch Trail Partial Closure

Jones Gulch Trail is closed between junctions 38 and 39 until repairs can be made to the Jones Gulch Bridge that was damaged by a downed tree.

Ongoing Trail Closures

The following trails in Pescadero Creek Park remain closed due to fire or storm damage:

• Baker Fire Roadbetween trail markers 74 & 75
• Shingle Mill Trail closed to equestrians

Access to closed portions of the park from Portola State Redwoods is prohibited (See Portola State Redwood trail advisories).
