New Annual Audit Plan Adopted!

On September 17, 2024, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Internal Audit Plan (PDF) based on direction it gave on July 23. This plan authorizes the City Auditor's Office to perform six new audit projects including:

• Homelessness Response;
• Employee Performance Management
• Public Works Maintenance
• Animal Services Operations
• Fire Department Overtime; and
• Park Management & Planning.

In addition, the Office will follow-up on the recommendations from eight previously issued audits, including:

• Capital Projects Administration: Planning & Design and Construction;
• Grants Management;
• Energy Portfolio Management;
• Wastewater System Operations;
• Network Management;
• Warehouse Inventory Management;
• Body-Worn Camera Usage; and
• Recreation Facility Operations.
