TRAFFIC ALERT: Closures scheduled on MO Route Z in Platte County, September

PLATTE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting culvert replacement operations on MO Route Z near Dearborn. All work is weather permitting.

Work will take place between approximately 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. See below for details:

  • Crews will close MO Route DD at Z highway on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
  • Crews will close MO Z at MO DD and .10 miles east of MO DD on Thursday, Sept. 5.
  • Crews will close MO Z at the MO Y and Interurban intersection. MO Y and interurban will be closed MO Z on Monday, Sept. 9.
  • Crews will close MO Z .10 miles east of Sherwood Forest Road on Thursday, Sept. 12.
  • Crews will close MO Z at Snook Road on Monday, Sept. 16.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
