DCCC Releases First TV Ad in CA-22: “Point Blank”

The DCCC released its first TV ad in the race for California's 22nd Congressional District, "Point Blank," highlighting how David Valadao's extreme anti-abortion views are out of touch with the Central Valley.

The ad features Valadao admitting to supporting a national abortion ban without exceptions that would end abortion access in California - despite the majority of voters in his district supporting codifying access to reproductive rights.

The ad - the first to run in CA-22 from the DCCC IE - is airing in English and Spanish in the Bakersfield media market beginning today and is part of the committee's previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

David Valadao didn't just admit it - he bragged about it.

Asked point blank on TV if he supports a national abortion ban, Valadao went all-in.

This bill doesn't mention any exception.

Valadao: I am pro-life. I signed onto the bill.

Valadao's ban would end access to abortion, even here in California.

With no exceptions for rape or the life of the mother.

He doesn't get it. This is California. We fight for our freedoms.
