After Polling Places close at 7 p.m., all Election Day ballots will return to Pinal VOTES from the precincts across the county, where they will be tabulated through the night until all Election Day ballots have been counted. The next posting of results is expected late this evening, with results updated intermittently through the night.

It is important to remember that it takes time to report election results, as Early Ballots received in the mail or dropped in a Dropbox or at a Polling Place on Election Day must still go through the signature verification process before they are sent to the Elections Department for tabulation. Additionally, provisional ballots cast on Election Day require additional verification before they can be tabulated, as well as any early ballots received with questions over the validity of the signature. Voters have until Sunday, November 10, to cure Signature and Conditional provisional ballots.

Please note that results are not official until the Pinal County Board of Supervisors canvass them, which is expected to take place as part of the Regular Board of Supervisors Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th.
