NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 30957

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, 350 E. Dahlia Avenue, Palmer, Alaska 99645, applied for a permit to appropriate water on April 13, 2016. The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of up to 24,000 gallons/day from a drilled well, 77 feet deep, from January 1^st through December 31^st each year, for a fire station located within MSB Lot B9, further located within the SE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 27, Township 19 North, Range 3 East, Seward Meridian, Palmer, Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on August 19, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
