Sixth Annual 22 Pushup Challenge Sept. 11

The Military Service Center with support from the UToledo Student Veterans of America organization will be hosting our 6th annual 22 Push-Up challenge on Wednesday, Sept. 11, near the Veterans Memorial on campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This event is to raise awareness of Veteran Suicide during national suicide awareness month and there will be resources tables in place regarding suicide awareness.

"This year marks our 6th anniversary holding our annual 22 Push-Up Challenge and we are encouraging the greater UToledo community to stop out to the Veterans Memorial in Centennial Mall on 9/11 between 11-1pm to raise awareness of Veterans suicide by doing 22 push-up with us," said Eric Buetikofer, UToledo director of Military and Veteran Affairs. "If participants don't think they can do 22 push-up don't worry we will have student Veterans there who will complete the push-ups that participants are unable to. So please come out and show your support for raising Veteran suicide awareness."
