Two Men Injured in Belltown Nightclub Shooting

Detectives are investigating an early morning shooting in Belltown neighborhood that left two men injured.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m., 911 Dispatch (CARE) received a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue. Police arrived and found a 32-year-old man inside the club suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire Department arrived and the victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

A short time later a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the arm was dropped off at Virginia Mason Hospital. Police arrive at the hospital and confirm the victim was also shot at the nightclub location.

Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives will be leading the investigation.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. No suspect is in custody currently.
