Grupo J.J. Louro constrói e equipa Residência de Estudantes de Rio Maior para alunos carenciados e deslocados

The construction of the Rio Maior Student Residence, located inside the Campus of the Escola Superior de Desporto, of the Instituto Politécnico de Santarém (IPS), was carried out by Miraterra, an Engineering and Construction company of the J.J. Louro Group.

The building, with a gross construction area of ​​more than 3 thousand square meters, provides 121 new beds for student accommodation and also features furniture and rest solutions from J.J. Louro Group brands.

From the 2024/2025 academic year onwards, the most needy students and displaced students will have all the comfort they need to complete their studies in this residence.

The rooms, mostly doubles, were furnished with beds, bedside tables and desks occupied by Lomm, and Lourini wardrobes. For the mattresses, the Classic Suite model was chosen, with bonel springs, which is part of the Lusocolchão hotel catalog and corresponds to the highest standards of excellence in terms of comfort, quality, design and performance. The common areas have multipurpose tables and chairs, armchairs, sofas and Modlyne side tables, available in the Lomm catalogue.

The new Student Residence, in Rio Maior, is a long-awaited project by the educational community in this city. The project was divided into two phases, both carrying Miraterra, and was celebrated at the beginning of June, as part of the celebrations of the 45th anniversary of the IPS.
