WASHINGTON, D.C.-The Air Line Pilots Association, Int'l (ALPA) issued the following statement after the nomination of former U.S. Representative Sean Duffy as the secretary of transportation:
"As the world's largest non-governmental aviation safety organization, ALPA congratulates Sean Duffy on his nomination to lead the U.S. Department of Transportation. We appreciated our collaborative relationship when Mr. Duffy served in the House of Representatives and look forward to learning more about his priorities for the department, with which ALPA works closely to advance America's global aviation leadership and keep flying safe and secure."
