Most City Offices Closed for Labor Day

Most City of Durham offices, including City Hall and all non-emergency City facilities and operations, will close to the public on Monday, September 2, in observance of Labor Day.

As always, crews will be ready to respond to emergencies in our community. More information about service changes over the holiday is available on our website.

Call for Mural Artists: Morgan Rigsbee Garage

Apply to the Pre-Qualified Artist Registry to be considered for an upcoming mural project at Morgan Rigsbee Garage. The selected artist or artist team will create activations and placemaking accessible to pedestrians and parking garage users.

Fleet Team Awarded at National Convention Held in Durham

Automotive professionals from across the country came to the Durham Convention Center earlier this month for the 2024 Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference & Expo!

Our team was also recognized by the National Association of Fleet Administrators as the fifth-ranked agency for the Green Fleet Award!

Our Fleet leaders spoke about ways to take care of engines, go green, and still save money.

Durham Cultural Roadmap Development Enters Next Phase

We are seeking a cultural consultant or consultant team to provide comprehensive cultural planning services for Phase II & III of the Durham Cultural Roadmap. This project is in partnership with Durham County, and submissions are being accepted until September 20.
