B&M Reopens Newly Refurbished Harpurhey, Manchester Store

On Saturday the 24th of August at 8am, B&M reopened the newly refurbished Harpurhey, Manchester store. After extensive internal and external renovation the store now offers a bigger and better shopping experience for customers and is filled with even more big brands at amazing prices.

After expanding and upgrading the site, the store now provides over 29,000sqft of high quality shopping space and offers a bigger range across all departments.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from Manchester Central Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Manchester Central Foodbank was founded in 2013 and distributed 10,358 three-day emergency food supplies given to people in crisis in 2022/2023. They are passionate about tackling food poverty and making sure that those in the local community experiencing food poverty are supported. They don't believe that anyone in the community should have to face going hungry, this is why they provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to those in crisis.

The store manager at Harpurhey said: "Our colleagues have been working really hard to get the store looking fantastic for opening day, we are so excited to show customers the new & improved B&M store."

The store manager also commented: "Manchester Central Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do."
