Geneva Welcomes Largest Class in Over 10 Years

Geneva College is excited to welcome over 400 new students this fall. We are thankful to announce this year's class is the largest class in more than 10 years.

The last two years have been an exciting time at the College, as we have seen the results of years of dedication, hard work, and a solid foundation of Christian education and missional commitment. In recent years the College has received the Riverfront Property, added several academic programs, won athletic championships, added an athletic team, launched the Genevea Tuition Promise, and established the Center for Faith and Life. As many institutions nationwide navigate enrollment challenges, we are thankful that we have experienced the opposite. Enrollment growth is another occasion of celebration, and a reflection of what the Lord is doing at Geneva College.

"We see it as a high privilege that so many students and families, from so many places, and so many different backgrounds want to come to Geneva to learn from our expert faculty alongside other students who seek to make an impact in the world." -Willem de Ruijter, VP of Enrollment & Marketing

Some highlightsof the incoming class of 2024 include:

  • The incoming class represents 28 states including Pennsylvania, Alaska, Texas, Maryland, and North Carolina
  • 9 countries represented, including Canada, China, Egypt, Liberia, Spain, Bahamas, Zimbabwe, and the United States
  • More than 20% of the incoming class are students of color

As we look to the upcoming academic year, and the future of the College, we are filled with gratitude, hopefulness, and thoughtfulness. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of education with more students, only made possible by the dedication of our staff, faculty, and dedicated alumni network. We are hopeful that in the midst of growth in all areas of campus, the mission of the College can continue to serve more populations in more places. Our leadership is also thoughtfully taking next steps to serve more students well and steer campus in the direction that stays true to the mission, vision, and strategic plan for the institution.
