Law360 Honors Three Dechert Partners as 2024 Rising Stars

Three Dechert LLP partners have been selected as Rising Stars for 2024 by Law360. Each year, the publication names those it judges to be the world's top legal talent under the age of 40 across a range of legal disciplines.

Those honored as Law360 Rising Stars for 2024 are:

Linda Ann Bartosch (Fintech): A Philadelphia-based global finance partner, Ms. Bartosch focuses her practice on a broad range of real estate finance, structured finance, and fintech matters. She was listed as one of the 35 top lawyers in the Philadelphia region by the Philadelphia Business Journal in its 2023 Best of the Bar program and named a "Lawyer on the Fast Track" by The Legal Intelligencer for leading on a series of notable deals. She has also been recognized by The Legal 500 US as a highly regarded lawyer in structured finance and securitization.

Matthew Fischer (Complex Financial Instruments): A New York-based global finance partner, Mr. Fischer focuses his practice on real estate, structured finance and securitization matters, with a particular focus on commercial mortgage-backed, single-family rental and agricultural mortgage-backed securitization transactions. He is consistently recognized by industry publications for his work in real estate and structured finance, including by The Legal 500 US, and represents issuers, underwriters, servicers, mortgage loan sellers and investors with respect to public and private mortgage-backed securitizations and CRE CLOs. Last year, he was named to the CRE Finance Council's "20 Under 40" list of distinguished professionals who have positively impacted the commercial real estate industry.

Sam Whittaker (Private Equity): A London-based private equity partner, Mr. Whittaker advises clients on a range of complex acquisitions, disposals and other corporate matters, particularly for private equity clients. He regularly advises prominent global private equity firms, alternative asset managers and other financial sponsors, and was recognized for this work as a "Private Equity Rising Star" by Law.com International in 2022, one of just 25 individuals described as Europe's best up-and-coming private equity lawyers. He is also listed in The Legal 500 UK for both M&A and private equity.
