WRTG A290: Introduction to Screenwriting

Students are invited to discover the art of screenwriting in the spring 2025 semester with Professor Don Rearden in WRTG A290: Introduction to Screenwriting. This live, in-person course, held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-2:15 p.m. (CRN: 35506), will teach everything needed to bring stories to life-from mastering format and structure to creating compelling characters and adapting stories for the screen. Whether potential students are dreaming of writing the next blockbuster or a heartfelt indie, this fun and inspiring course will give them the tools to craft their dream script.
