Man Arrested at Greyhound Terminal After Arriving in Nashville with Thousands of Counterfeit Pills Containing Fentanyl

Specialized Investigations Division detectives Wednesday night intercepted thousands of counterfeit oxycodone pills that field tested positive for fentanyl from an 18-year-old man just after he disembarked from a Greyhound bus from Dallas, Texas.

The Interdiction and Narcotics Units conduct routine periodic operations at the bus terminal in an effort to stem the trafficking of illegal drugs. On Wednesday night, Ivan Corrales was found to be carrying a small duffle bag that contained a duct-taped bundle. Wrapped in the duct tape were thousands of fake blue M-30 pills that, in total, weighed more than five pounds.

Corrales told detectives that he had been given the pills in El Paso, Texas, with direction to bring them here. He is charged with felony possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $75,000. Corrales carried an ID that listed his residence as being in Alma, Arkansas.
