Downtown Art Walk coming to Chandler…

CHANDLER, Ariz. - The Downtown Art Walk, a collaboration between the City of Chandler and the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership (DCCP), is returning to Chandler this fall.

Every Sunday in October, attendees can stroll through Downtown Chandler to view and purchase works from local artists. The Downtown Art Walk will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Downtown Chandler is always a popular destination with its mix of shops, restaurants and events," said Councilmember Matt Orlando. "I am pleased that the city was able to work with the DCCP to make the Downtown Art Walk one more reason to visit this fall and promote the creativity within our community."

This free event will showcase both established and new artists who work in a variety of mediums including ceramics, jewelry, photography and more. The art walk will also feature local dance performances and live music.

Artist booths will be located in Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, along Commonwealth Avenue and under the colonnade of San Marcos Place and Boston Street.

Attendees can also enjoy the restaurants and shops in downtown during their visit. There is ample free parking, including five garages on the east and west of Arizona Avenue.
