Nova Scotia RCMP arrest man wanted on multiple warrants

The Nova Scotia RCMP Commercial Crime Section has arrested a man wanted for fraud-related offences that occurred between 2019 and 2021.

Nicholas Eugene Croscup, 43, of Middle Sackville, was charged with multiple fraud-related offences that occurred between 2019 and 2021 in the communities of Mount Pleasant, Digby, Wolfville, Falmouth, Beaver Bank, Middle Sackville and Halifax.

Through the investigations, it was determined that Croscup had falsely advertised used vehicles for sale, collected deposits from interested parties, then cut off contact without delivering the vehicle.

Multiple warrants for his arrest were issued after he failed to appear in court. It was believed that Croscup had left the province.

On August 13, 2024, the Nova Scotia RCMP Commercial Crime Section, with assistance from the Regina Police Service and the Regina Police Service Financial Crime Section, located Croscup at a residence in Regina, Saskatchewan, and arrested him.

Croscup was escorted back to Nova Scotia and appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court on August 15 and August 19. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on September 16 at 9:30 a.m.
