American Lawyer Shortlists Orrick as a Top Corporate Technology Practice

American Lawyer has named our team a finalist for Corporate Technology Practice of the Year. The firm made this list based on our leadership over the past 12 months in the AI transformation, including:

• 78 M&A transactions and over $19.6 billion in venture financing for leading LLMs, applications and infrastructure players across the AI tech stack, as well as investors. Orrick supported Anthropic in its $4 billion partnership with Amazon and counseled SAP on its $1.5 billion acquisition of WalkMe.
• Innovative PPA solutions to address AI-driven data center power demand. Orrick advised Microsoft on a historic power purchase agreement with Brookfield Asset Management, almost 8x larger than any previous single corporate PPA.
• The creation of novel M&A playbooks for AI-related due diligence.
