1st Somali Army Cadet Officer Course (SACOC): closing ceremony

In the Ceremony Hall of the GDTC, EUTM-S held the closing ceremony of 1^st Somali Army Cadet Officer Course.

In the Ceremony Hall of the General Dhagabadan Training Centre (GDTC), EUTM-S held the closing ceremony of the 1^st Somali Army Cadet Officer Course. 59 students received their certificate at the presence of the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Somalia, Ms. Karin Johansson, the European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM-S) Force Commander, Brigadier General Giuseppe Zizzari, the SNAF Training and Doctrine Commander, Col. Ahmed Essa Ahmed, the Commander of the GDTC, Lt. Col. Muhudin Aspro and others SNAF representatives.

The complete course, lasted more than nine months and was organized by EUTM-S upon specific request of the General Staff of the Somali National Armed Forces, to prepare students to act as Platoon Leader.

The five best students received an award for their commitment and achievements. Well done to everyone! EUTM-S mission will continue to strengthen its support to the Somali Security Forces.
