MEDIA ADVISORY - OVERPECK COUNTY PARK - MONDAY

BERGEN OFFICE OF FOOD SECURITY HOSTS THANKSGIVING PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION WITH COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF NEW JERSEY

WHAT: Members of the media are invited to Overpeck County Park on Monday, November 18^th at 9:45 a.m. for the County's Office of Food Security fresh produce distribution in partnership the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. Over 90,000 pounds are expected to be sorted and distributed to 40 food pantries in Bergen County. Produce boxes will include staples such as potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, apples and plums, and will be vital supplements to the already depleted food pantries leading up to the holiday.
