NOPD Seeking Person of Interest for Questioning in Investigation of 2020 Homicide

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a subject identified as a person of interest for questioning in its ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on September 22, 2020, in the 7500 block of Brevard Avenue.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Section Cold Case Unit detectives have developed Eric Jones (pictured, black male, DOB unavailable) as a person of interest. Jones is not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel that Jones may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview him.
