Syracuse Man Found Walking along NYS Thruway is arrested followin...

On August 24th, at 08:38 a.m., State Police responded to a reported pedestrian walking along I-90 (New York State Thruway) in the town of Salina, Onondaga County.

When the Trooper arrived and approached the pedestrian, later identified as Nathan King, he refused to identify himself and why he was walking on the roadway. As the Trooper attempted to take King into custody, he pulled away and refused to comply with the Trooper's instructions. A struggle ensued, and King was taken into custody without incident.

Nathan K. King, age 34, from Syracuse, NY,was arrested for Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd degree (class "A" misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (class "A" misdemeanor), and Pedestrian on a Prohibited Area of State Highway or Expressway (traffic violation). King was also wanted for violation of probation warrant in Onondaga County.

He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Salina Town Court on September 12, 2024, at 5 p.m.
