U Haul Grows Self Storage Footprint in Springfield with New Acquisition

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Nov. 26, 2024) - The U-Haul acquisition of a neighboring self-storage facility on 1.73 acres has fulfilled the Company's plans to expand its self-storage footprint at 3150 S. Campbell Ave in Springfield.

U-Haul purchased the former South Campbell Storage property on Sept. 24.

With the addition of six one-story buildings encompassing 219 drive-up units, U-Haul Storage at South Campbell increased its total number of storage units to 386.

"We're excited to announce the addition of these easy-access, drive-up storage units to help us better serve the Springfield community," said Kevin Sullivan, U-Haul Company of Missouri president. "This acquisition strengthens the U-Haul commitment to our deserving customers by offering them more trusted storage options at affordable prices."

Parent store U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Campbell, located across the street at 3145 S. Campbell Ave., offers a mix of 745 indoor climate-controlled and outdoor drive-up storage units. Between the two facilities, U-Haul now has 1,131 self-storage spaces available to rent.
