According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor, trade of 8,866,560 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 1.5 billion USD.
On this floor the IME sold 5,106,080 tonnes of cement, 1,902,000 tonnes of iron ore, 959,640 tonnes of steel, 825,800 tonnes of sponge iron, 4,480 tonnes of zinc, 39,115 tonnes of aluminum, 28,285 tonnes of copper, 1,000 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 60 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 210 vehicles.
Based on this report, the exchange saw trade of 2,004,699 tonnes of commodities worth nearly 963 million USD on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor.
Items traded on this floor included 643,800 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 529,999 tonnes of bitumen, 392,978 tonnes of polymeric products, 153,970 tonnes of chemicals, 92,315 tonnes of sulfur, 14,611 tonnes of oil, 14,000 tonnes of lube cut, 1,705 tonnes of feedstocks and 320 tonnes of waterproofing materials.
Last was the IME's side market on which the exchange traded 57,957 tonnes of goods.
