Attorney General Alan Wilson announces arrest of Easley woman accused of stealing from assisted living facility resident

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that his office's Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud unit (VAMPF) has arrested Christa Porter Bennett, 51 years old, of Easley, S.C., for one count of Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult {43-35-0085 (D)} and one count of Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent, value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000 {16-13-0230(A)}. Bennett was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center on June 28, 2024.
