2024 LaSalle County Solid Waste Management Plan

LaSalle County has completed the DRAFT 2024 Solid Waste Management Plan in accordance with the Illinois Solid Waste Planning and Recycling Act (SWPRA) (415 ILCS 12/1 et seq.). The purpose of a solid waste plan is to assess waste disposal facilities and services and review diversion methods/facilities/programs. This 5 year update to the plan includes updated demographic data, waste hauler/facility data, disposal/recycling quantity data, and updated plan recommendations.

There will be a hearing to present the plan at the LaSalle County Land Use/TIF meeting (707 E Etna Rd, County Board Room) on November 6th, 2024 at 9:00 AM. A draft of the plan is available at LaSalle County Solid Waste Management Plan Draft.
