Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 for September 11, 2024

According to CDC, hospital admission rates and the percentage of COVID-19 deaths among all deaths are now the primary surveillance metrics.

Daily Hospitalization Summary for Suffolk County - From September 11, 2024

• 81 individuals were hospitalized
• 54% were hospitalized due to COVID-19 or complications of COVID-19.
• 9 new admissions since the last report.
• 18 were discharged since the last report.
• 5 patient in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

• 5,335 fatalities since March 2020. an increase of 0 since last report.
